The administration team is one of the most crucial parts of the team. They work on all worded documents. They are involved with the coordination and implementation of office procedures and frequently have responsibility for specific projects and tasks. The tasks asked while working in the administration team include to:

  • Produce documents such as the Business Plan, Sponsorship Packages etc.

  • Deal with telephone and Email enquiries including our relationship with our sponsors

  • Organise and store paperwork, documents and computer-based information

  • Keep diaries and arrange appointments

  • Schedule and attend meetings, create agendas and take minutes - shorthand may be required

  • Book meeting room and conference facilities

  • Liaise with team members in other departments

  • Order and maintain stationery and equipment

  • Organise travel and accommodation for staff and other external contacts.

For administration the Queen Mary Formula Student Team are looking for someone who is organised, has a good attention to detail and an ability to plan their own work using their own initiatives to meet deadlines. They should be strong in their oral and written communication skills with the ability to manage pressure with conflicting demands.
